A CCRC or Life Plan Community provides maintenance-free living, along with several levels of care and support, all on one campus. This means you’ll never have to move again should your healthcare needs ever change while living at Penick Village. We offer a full continuum of care, including: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation Care & Home Care.

Entrance fees are one-time fees for Independent Living residents based on the size and location of the residence you choose. Entrance fees and monthly service fees assure lifetime residency, full access to the community’s amenities, and priority access to healthcare services.

As a not-for-profit organization, Penick Village exists to serve our community, not to generate dividends for shareholders. We reinvest our earnings into services and enhancements that benefit our residents. We also are a single-site entity ,and as far as we know are the longest such operating retirement community in the state. Over 90% of our residents polled said that knowing the decision makers was a major reason for moving to Penick Village.

The first step in the approval in Independent Living after deciding on a place of residence is to gain financial approval through our application. After that, medical approval will be gained through an assessment by one of Penick Village’s qualified staff. After financial and medical approval, a 10% deposit will be made and we will make plans for the move.
